Delete it in the app
- Open the Flair app, or app.flair.community in a browser, and sign in.
- Go to Settings, then Delete account.
- Read what happens, type your username to confirm, and tap Delete account.
Your account closes right away and you are signed out on every device.
Before you delete
The app asks you to finish a few things first, so nobody is left mid-way:
- Hand over or delete any organization you own.
- Settle payments that are still in progress.
- Close or decline your active bookings.
Deleting your account cancels your Flair subscription, whether you pay on the web or through Google Play. It stops renewing, and time already paid for is not refunded.
A subscription bought through Apple can only be cancelled by you. Cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings first, or it keeps renewing after your account is deleted.
What happens next
- For 30 days your account is closed but not yet erased. If you change your mind, email [email protected] within those 30 days and we can restore it.
- After 30 days, your account and personal data are permanently erased.
What we keep
Some records are kept after deletion:
- Messages you sent stay visible to the people you sent them to, without your name, for up to 2 years after they were sent.
- Payment records, such as receipts and invoices, are kept for 10 years for tax and legal purposes.
- A security log of account activity is kept for 10 years, no longer linked to your profile.
- If you signed an organization's verification, your name and the signing date stay on that organization's record.
Cannot use the app?
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and include your username. We will confirm the request with you and delete the account on the same terms as above.
See the Privacy Policy for everything we collect and how long we keep it.
