Cookie Policy

Version 2026-08-15, in effect August 15, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Flair ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Flair Inc., uses cookies and similar technologies on https://flair.community. Our mobile app does not set cookies, but it uses SDKs such as Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Cloud Messaging; app users should see our Privacy Policy for SDK-level data and choices.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function properly, maintain security, and improve your experience by remembering your actions and preferences.

2. How We Use Cookies

a. Strictly necessary. Required for the platform to function and cannot be switched off. These support authentication (secure, HttpOnly cookies storing JWTs to keep you signed in), security (CSRF tokens to protect against malicious requests), and session management (maintaining state during signup and OTP verification).

b. Analytics / performance (optional). Help us understand traffic and usage so we can improve the platform, including referral-usage patterns and performance. These are set only where you consent.

c. Marketing (reserved). We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. This category is reserved and remains default-denied; if we introduce such cookies, we will add them here and ask for your consent first.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Trusted third-party services may set cookies to deliver and secure the platform:

  • Security and infrastructure: Cloudflare (and our hosting provider, DigitalOcean) may set cookies to protect against bots and maintain stability.

  • Payments: our payment processor (Stripe) may set cookies to process payments securely and to detect and prevent fraud during web checkout.

  • Analytics: Google Analytics may set cookies to measure site usage (pseudonymous), where enabled by your consent.

  • Email delivery: our email provider (currently Resend) supports message delivery and typically does not set client-side cookies for end users.

4. Managing Cookies

On your first visit, non-essential storage is denied by default until you opt in (Google Consent Mode v2). The banner offers equal-prominence "Accept all" and "Necessary only" choices, plus a persistent "Cookie settings" link so you can change or withdraw consent at any time in a few clicks. You can also set your browser to accept or refuse cookies; if you reject strictly necessary cookies, access to secure areas may be restricted.

5. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for legal reasons. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date.
